To provide personal Christian care for the congregation using Jesus Christ as our example.
We are committed to accomplishing this purpose through various avenues:
• Celebrate Recovery: This Christ-centered recovery ministry meets weekly to provide hope, encouragement, accountability and direction to those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups.
• Stephen Ministry: This ministry equips people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge or simply going through a tough time.
• Prayer Team: Prayer has an amazing power to effect the purposes of God. Our Prayer Team is a group of individuals who have committed to praying for people and issues shared via e-mail.
• Visitation: Through visiting those in hospitals, homes, care facilities, the grieving and the dying, we will attempt to show the compassion our Lord has shown to provide the comfort of Christian fellowship.
• Serving: Work to meet the needs of the congregation in individual ways, always motivated by God's love.
• Relationship Building: It is our goal to develop relationships within the body of the church for spiritual, emotional and social support.
• Listening: Endeavor to learn and practice active listening as needed to provide support to the congregation.
• Providing Comfort: Offer comfort and support to the ill, the grieving and the dying.
