To promote community awareness of Crossroads through activities that will influence people toward Christ and His church.
• Get the name of Crossroads Christian Church out to the public
• Organize and publicize events with special emphasis placed on inviting
the surrounding community. This includes, but is not limited to, utilizing
the free publicity from local newspapers, such as the Kansas City Star,
the Sun newspapers, the Shawnee West Dispatch and Shawnee
Journal-Herald.
• Initiate both annual events and special events on an experimental basis.
Evaluation of all events will determine whether they will be held in the future.
• Sample events the Team will be involved with include the following:
Annual - Friend Day, Surprise Sunday, Holidays, Old Shawnee Days,
NovemberEve Fun Fest
Periodic - special mailings, door hangers, community service projects
