To draw people closer to the Lord through heartfelt worship that reflects excellence and a desire to genuinely bring glory to God.
• Provide music for all worship services, PrimeTime, and other special events
as needed.
• Ensure that music both corresponds to our philosophy of ministry and
facilitates heart-felt worship.
• Ensure that most music played for our worship services contains Christian
lyrics that affirm our core values, purpose statement and statement of belief.
(Exceptions may include skits and specials.)
• Communicate to the church what true worship is and why God desires for
us to be true worshippers.
All instrumentalists and vocalists must be committed in practicing, attending meetings when scheduled, etc.
As the Music Team, we want to give the Lord our very best by doing everything with excellence, setting an example for both believers and non-believers. We want to communicate to the church why worship is so important in our relationship with God.
So, are you a talented instrumentalist or vocalist who has a desire to glorify God through the musical gift(s) He's given you? Are you comfortable singing or playing in front of people? Are you someone who sets an example of excellence and Godliness not only through music, but your lifestyle as well?
There are two ways to serve on the Music Team: 1) One Voice, an ensemble group that provides contemporary special music or 2) Sunday morning worship team, which provides worship for Sunday morning services. This includes instrumentalists and vocalists.
