Do you like to meet new people? Are you good at remembering people's faces? Do you have the gift of encouragement toward others? Do you feel comfortable telephoning, e-mailing or writing people? Do you enjoy planning and facilitating social get togethers? If any of these apply to you, we need you on the Follow-Up Team!
To help people plug in to ministry, fellowship and discipleship opportunities and to follow up with people we miss seeing over a period of time.
• Follow up with new attendees appropriately by providing any needed
information (Welcome Packets, Ministry Team Booklets, Small Group
booklets, Spiritual Gift class info, newsletters, etc.).
• Assist with the "Meet Your Neighbor" clipboard program.
• Help host and facilitate "Pizza with the Pastors" events.
• Invite new attendees to attend a Closer Look Class.
• Encourage everyone to get plugged into a Small Group and/or Ministry Team.
• Encourage others to attend upcoming church events.
• Identify and reach out to people in our church family we've missed seeing
over a period of time.
• Help new attendees feel comfortable on Sunday mornings, at PrimeTime,
Small Groups, Fellowship events etc.
