To illustrate Biblical themes within a theatrical context that will help pique people's interest and demonstrate the relevance of God's Word.
Tasks identified include:
• Regular communication with the Pastor regarding direction of Sunday
messages, planning as many weeks ahead as possible.
• Determine special drama needs for each message if any (i.e. should
the skit be funny or have a serious tone).
• Develop props as needed.
• Inject at least some humor into each skit, unless otherwise directed
by the Pastor. This will help make people more receptive to the message.
• Decide on actors/actresses as soon as possible. Attempt to get the scripts
to them a few days in advance. Rehearsals are held at 7:50 a.m. on Sunday
mornings, prior to the second service. Special skits may require additional
practice and will be scheduled as needed.
• Help coordinate any Easter & Christmas programs.
