Vision Statement

Over the years, many in frustration have distanced themselves from church. Some of their reasons include:

"Church people are cold and unfriendly."
"Sermons are boring and don't relate to real life."
"Going to church is a guilt trip."
"Churches don't care about you, they just want your money."

Crossroads Christian Church is a different kind of church. It is made up of people just like you. There isn't an emphasis on rituals and traditions here. Instead, our approach is informal and relaxed.

Our desire is to convey to this community that God's plan for our lives is just as relevant today as it ever has been. In accomplishing that, our worship services include a combination of contemporary Christian music, drama, personal testimonies and practical messages.

Children are regularly given opportunities to make new friends and discover biblical truths through music, games and discussions. Our goal is to supplement the family in its attempt to lay a spiritual foundation that in time will lead a child to a personal relationship with Christ.

Crossroads is far from perfect, but our direction is focused. We believe going to church should be an event both adults and children look forward to, something you walk away from encouraged and uplifted.

We are here to assist individuals with taking a new direction in their lives - one that leads to peace and joy, one that enables them to get closer to God than ever before. Our relational emphasis, worship services, small groups, opportunities for service and ongoing outreach are all designed with this in mind.

Though we come from a variety of backgrounds, we enjoy a sense of belonging in this church family. We've found Crossroads to be a place where you can "be real" and find the acceptance and friendships you've long searched for.
